Kris Aquino has cried foul over the remark made by former Special Assistant to the President Christopher “Bong” Go about her past relationship with actor Philip Salvador.

Aquino shared on her Instagram page Tuesday (February 26) a video clip of Go saying “naloko mo nga si Kris Aquino” to Salvador during a recent campaign sortie.

The senatorial candidate made the statement after saying Salvador was an “adopted father of Davao City” because he had four children in the bailiwick of President Rodrigo Duterte.

“Si Ipe parati ko po itong kasama dahil kaibigan talaga namin ni Pangulo at unofficially po, kung meron po kayong nagawang kabutihan sa isang siyudad, ina-adopt po siya bilang adopted son of the city. Pero si Ipe po kakaiba ‘yung recognition na binigay sa kanya, adopted father of Davao City po siya kasi po nag-iwan po siya ng apat na anak sa Davao…,”Go said.

Turning to the actor, he added: “Totoo naman eh… naloko mo nga si Kris Aquino.”

Aquino and Salvador were in a relationship in the 1990s. They have a son, Joshua.

In the post’s caption, Aquino said she was “so much hurt deeply” by Go’s remarks because she has never done him any wrong.

“Wala po akong atraso sa inyo SAP BONG GO. i have only good words for you pero sana sa paglilingkod nyo para sa mga Pilipino bilang Senador (i know you are a SURE WINNER), sana priority niyo rin po ang mga kababaihan,” she said.

Considering she’s already a high profile personality, Aquino was dismayed that she could still be the butt of jokes about a past relationship.

“Nagtrabaho ako at hindi ako pinabayaan ng pamilya ko. But what about the women without financial security and family?” she asked.

So much hurt deeply in the past few days. i was shown this video while in 🇯🇵 and had actually reached out to Senatorial Candidate Bong Go because turo ng Dad ko- panindigan mo na good sport ka… i was doing a #konmari on my phone & lumabas yung video…pinanuod ko ulit. Wala po akong atraso sa inyo SAP BONG GO. i have only had good words for you pero sana sa paglilingkod nyo para sa mga Pilipino bilang Senador (i know you are a SURE WINNER), sana priority nyo rin po ang mga kababaihan. But what about the women without financial security & family? Sorry ha- minalas- nandun kasi yung “NALOKO”… nakadapa na po, nung pinanuod ulit at narinig yung tawanan ng audience, isa pang sampal sa taong umaamin, matatalo sya.

Create spaces for all genders: Robredo urges women to be trailblazers

Vice President Leni Robredo called on women to unite and work together to create new trails amid challenges to gender inequality.

Robredo said the International Women’s Day, which is celebrated Monday (March 8) is a reminder that the fight for gender equality continues.

“We need as many women and allies as possible banging against the glass ceiling and creating spaces where all genders can flourish and contribute to society. Because progress hinges not on the brilliance of a few, but in the sustained united effort of all,” she said.

“So as we honor the victories of those who came before, let us blaze new trails for others to follow. Let us answer the calls to leadership, face the trials of our time with resolve, and strive towards a fairer, kinder, more humane world, where no one is left behind,” the Vice President added.

Robredo is the second female Vice President of the Philippines, next to former President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo.
