A government intelligence officer hopes administration officials will stop calling the so-called “Oust Duterte” matrix as intel because its credibility is questionable.

GMA News broadcaster Raffy Tima shared the unnamed intelligence officer’s sentiment on the matrix in a tweet posted Tuesday (April 23).

“An active intel officer messaged me after the ‘Duterte-Ouster Matrix’ came out: ‘Tol alam ko magtatanong ka, unahan na kita. Nakakatawa yung nilabas na matrix, pero para sa amin nakaka-insulto. Sana wag na sabihin galing intel yun!’ This person does not vent personal feelings,” Tima said.

The “Oust Duterte” matrix, which was first published by the Manila Times Monday, detailed the supposed links of some media organizations and a lawyers’ group to alias “Bikoy,” the self-styled whistleblower featured in the “Ang Totoong Narco List” videos posted on YouTube.

The “Ang Totoong Narco List” accuses some family members of President Rodrigo Duterte of involvement in the illegal drug trade.

Among those named in the matrix are Rappler, the Philippine Center for Investigative Journalism, the National Union of People’s Lawyers and journalist Ellen Tordesillas.
