New year, new look.

Drawing inspiration from Miss Universe Catriona Gray, Senator Nancy Binay intends to include local woven fabric in her wardrobe this year.

The senator shared on Facebook her New Year’s resolution on promoting indigenous textiles, including a photo wearing an Ifugao-inspired skirt at work.

“Back to work during the first Senate session of 2019 wearing this skirt by Jor-El Espina featuring the ‘Ginamat’ design from Ifugao. Inspired by the advocacy of Miss Universe Catriona Gray, my new year’s resolution is to wear and promote garments made from indigenous #PhilippineTextile. #BeNice,” she wrote on Facebook.
