Despite overwhelming documentary evidence of unexplained wealth, Senator Nancy Binay continues to shrug off the Anti-Money Laundering Council (AMLC) probe on Vice President Jejomar Binay’s bank counts as mere politics.
Nancy even mocked the AMLC report as similar to the template used in ousting then Supreme Court Chief Justice Renato Corona in 2012 when both the ALMC and Bureau of Internal Revenue were used to gather evidence against the magistrate.
“In all our 25 years of working, this is what came to us — P643 million in a span of 25 years. This includes campaign funding,” said Nancy.
The Inquirer reported that the 242 accounts of Binay and his dummies had P11 billion in total transactions in the last 7 years.
Nancy even took the time to jeer at the Liberal Party which her family is blaming for masterminding what she called as a demolition job against her family.
“One party is already shaking in fear because their main bet is still rating very low in the survey,” said Nancy in an interview with reporters.
