Despite supposed stricter measures at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport due to the pandemic, illegal acts on human trafficking continue to prevail in the country ‘s premier airport.
An airport personnel was arrested and recommended for anti- human trafficking violations by the National Bureau of Investigation for providing fake identification card to two female Overseas Filipino Workers bound for the Middle East to avoid security protocols.
The NBI identified the suspects as Art Jedyrick Subido assigned as operations assistant at NAIA terminal 1.
The two OFWs positively identified Subido as the person who handed them the fake airport ID ‘s to access the Departure Security Restricted Area, so they can board the aircraft without passing through security.
NBI had filed the human trafficking case before the Pasay City prosecutor office .
