President Rodrigo Duterte has retained Metro Manila under general community quarantine (GCQ) until the end of the year.
Aside from Metro Manila, Batangas, Iloilo City, Tacloban City, Lanao del Sur, Iligan City and Davao City will also be under GCQ from December 1 to 31, Duterte said during his taped address Monday night.
The rest of the country will be under the most lenient Modified GCQ, he added.
“Alam mo kasi, wala talagang social distancing. Yung iba they do not wear mask. Ayaw nila at matigas ang ulo,” the President said.
