Schoolchildren have found an ally in Foreign Affairs Secretary Teodoro Locsin Jr. who has backed the proposed no homework policy for primary and secondary schools in the country.

Locsin, in a post on Twitter, argued that majority of children remain poor and only 1 percent have homes fit to complete their homework from school.

“It is better they do all their studies in the classroom because only 1% of Filipino students have a home fit to do homework in,” he said.

” The 99% live in squalor because our fucking country is still going nowhere as it’s done since the Americans gave us independence,” he said.
