North Korean leader Kim Jong-un’s half-brother Kim Jong-nam has died.
Kim Jong-nam, who had been in exile, was waiting for a flight to Macau at the Kuala Lumpur International Airport when an incident occurred.
According to a report by Malaysia’s The Star Online on Tuesday, Senior Assistant Commissioner Fadzil Ahmat who leads the Selangor Criminal Investigation Department (CID) said, “He told the receptionist at the departure hall that someone had grabbed him from behind and splashed a liquid on his face.”
Kim Jong-nam was sent to the clinic and pronounced dead on the way to a hospital, the Selangor CID chief said.
The official added in the same report published online that they have begun investigating into the matter.
