Malacañang assured assistance to local government units (LGUs) that cannot afford to procure coronavirus (Covid-19) vaccines.

LGUs across the Philippines are ramping up plans for the procurement of Covid-19 vaccines for their constituents.

Some have already allocated a portion of their budget for the inoculation program.

In a separate briefing, Cabinet Secretary Karlo Nograles said the national government has allotted P75 billion for the the country’s vaccine program that will benefit 57 million Filipinos.
