Palace admits: Metro Manila traffic to go unsolved within Duterte term

Solving traffic woes on Edsa won’t be possible under President Rodrigo Duterte’s watch, Malacañang said.
Presidential Spokesperson Salvador Panelo issued the remark after Bayan Secretary-General Renato Reyes said the administration’s Build, Build, Build program was not enough to eradicate traffic congestion, calling it merely a list of infrastructure projects.
Di ba sinasabi nga ng mga experts 15 to 20 years.
The chief presidential legal counsel also provided no assurance that traffic congestion in the metro will improve before Duterte’s term ends.
Experts na nga ang nagsasabi na it will take you 15 years to solve the entire complex problem on traffic,” he explained.
