Around 2.4 million Filipino children are at risk of getting the measles, the Department of Health (DOH) said yesterday.

Undersecretary Maria Rosario Vergeire warned of potential measles outbreak if parents of children who are less than one-year old refuse to vaccination.

The DOH is set to conduct a nationwide measles and polio supplemental immunization campaign from October 26 to November 25, 2020.

Malacañang earlier urged parents to have their children immunized to prevent a predicted measles outbreak next year.
