Malacañang welcomed on Sunday the results of the latest Social Weather Stations (SWS) survey which showed that the net satisfaction rating of President Rodrigo Duterte’s Cabinet climbed to +32 from June 2018’s +25.
“Since the survey was conducted during the month of September when inflation was at 6.7%, the findings tell us that our people, indeed, recognize and appreciate the efforts of the Administration in stabilizing the prices of basic commodities and bringing a comfortable and dignified life for all,” Presidential Spokesperson Salvador Panelo said in a statement.
The survey, conducted from September 15 to 23, also showed that 48 percent of the 1,500 adult respondents were satisfied with the Cabinet as a whole. Sixteen percent said they were dissatisfied while 33 percent were undecided.
Amid significant positive gains in the SWS survey, the government, Panelo said, vows to continue addressing today’s challenging issues head-on.
“Notwithstanding the favorable survey numbers, the members of the official family of the President will not grow complacent in addressing national issues but will continue to work tirelessly as we lay down the foundation of a stronger and more robust society,” the spokesman added.
