Palace on Mocha Uson’s party-list bid: ‘Di nangampanya ng maayos!

Former Malacanang communications assistant secretary Mocha Uson lost her bid as party-list representative of the party-list organization called AA Kasosyo because she did not campaign well, Palace spokesperson Salvador Panelo said.
“Natalo si Mocha? I can’t believe that… Isa lang ang ibig sabihin niyan, hindi siya nag concentrate sa pagkampanya,” Presidential Spokesperson Salvador Panelo said in a media interview on Wednesday.
The AA Kasosyo is in 73rd place based on the Comelec partial and unofficial tally as of 5:01 p.m. today. Only 59 seats will be allotted for party-list organizations in Congress.
Panelo said Uson, a known Duterte supporter, might have only depended on her five million followers on Facebook, most of whom are Filipino working abroad.
“Baka she was overconfident considering that she has 5 mililon followers and most of them are overseas na bumubuto. Alam ko nangangampanya siya for others. Tingin ko baka she was overconfident na siguradong… Kaya sa iba na siya nangampanya. Pero nagulat ako,” he explained.
