Palace says up to PRC to decide fate of med board exams: Kailangan natin ng duktor!

Malacañang leaves to the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) to decide how the licensure examinations for doctors will be delivered this September.
“Iiwan muna natin yan sa PRC dahil sila naman mag-a-administer niyan,” Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque said in a virtual presser Thursday.
Roque, however, stressed the need for more doctors amid the rising number of coronavirus (Covid-19) cases in the country.
“Pero kailangan natin ng mga duktor. Kung ano man ang proposal ng PRC eh pupuwede naman pong idulong yan sa IATF dahil importante na maparami natin ang hanay ng doctor habang tayo ay may pandemiya,” he explained.
Last March, the PRC canceled the board exams scheduled in March and April due to the Covid-19 situation in the country.
The Physician Board Exams will be conducted on September 13, 14, 20, and 21.
