Malacañang suggests that portable toilets should be provided for tourists in Boracay.

This, after a viral video showed a Chinese tourist letting a child poop on Boracay shore.

“Maybe we should also ask the Boracay, whoever are responsible for that place, to have available restrooms all over,” said Presidential Spokesperson Salvador Panelo on Thursday.

“I also notice na parang pag gusto mong i-relieve yourself parang wala ka ring mapuntahan pag nandoon ka sa beach. Kailangan siguro merong mga portable restroom there. Kailangan tulungan din natin ang turista natin,” Panelo added.

The chief presidential legal counsel, meanwhile, said the recent defecation incident in the popular island of Boracay was a clear violation of law and offenders will be subject to administrative suits.

“We are not happy about that. Kasi we are supposed to be cleaning it up and some people are messing it up. Hindi maganda,” Panelo said.

“Kahit na Pilipino yun… whether Pilipino yun o tourist, it’s offensive to the site. It’s not a good scene,” according to him.
