PAO forensics chief claims another Dengvaxia victim died
Public Attorney’s Office (PAO) forensics chief Dr. Erwin Erfe expressed dismay that another suspected Dengvaxia victim may have died on Thursday (Dec. 26).
“Another Dengvaxia vaccinee died this morning,” he said.
Erfe identified the latest suspected as Noreen Martinez Labrique, 14, who passed away at the Dr. Jose N. Rodriguez Memorial Hospital in Valenzuela City.
The PAO official learned from the family of the child that Labrique received two shots of the anti-dengue vaccine.
Because of this, Erfe said the family has requested the PAO to conduct an autopsy also on Thursday on the victim.
