Para wala nang daldal! Panelo says acceptance to commute challenge ’silly’

It’s a silly acceptance.”

Presidential Spokesperson Salvador Panelo had this to say on why he accepted the challenge of youth group Anakbayan and militant labor group Kilusang Mayo Uno to commute to work after previously dismissing the dare as “silly.”

In a media briefing on Thursday, Panelo explained he took the commute challenge to put an end to the issue.

“Tinanggap ko lang yung hamon nila. But I will do it my way. I am not trying to prove anything, I am just asking their challenge. Kung hindi ko tinanggap ang hamon, marami pa silang daldal,” he said.

The chief presidential legal counsel yesterday said he will take a jeep and the LRT to Malacañang on Friday.

Panelo had denied claims of mass transport crisis in Metro Manila and encouraged the riding public to leave home early to beat the traffic.
