Parang walang natutunan sa PMA! Mon Tulfo blasts Dela Rosa for advising ABS-CBN employees to look for other jobs

Special Envoy to China Mon Tulfo has criticized Senator Ronald Dela Rosa for telling ABS-CBN employees to look for other jobs since the network’s franchise was not renewed by Congress.

In his July 16 column for the Manila Times, Tulfo called Dela Rosa’s advice “sickeningly insensitive and loony.”

“My gosh, the guy is tactless, unsophisticated and gauche for a senator who is supposed to be wise and urbane,” he said.

Tulfo said Dela Rosa “was probably absent” when social graces were taught at the Philippine Military Academy.

Dela Rosa had said he was not affected by ABS-CBN’s shutdown as there are other news sources. He also said the network’s employees should work hard to find new jobs in case they are laid off.

“Hanap ng ibang trabaho para mabuhay. Magsumikap. May ibang paraan pa naman siguro,” the senator said.
