Pareho ni Duterte: Robredo’s trust, approval ratings drop in September 2019- Pulse Asia

Vice President Leni Robredo’s trust and approval ratings dropped in the third quarter of 2019, according to Pulse Asia’s latest survey.

Results of the pollster’s Ulat ng Bayan survey for September showed Robredo’s trust rating down six points from 52 percent in June to 45 percent last month.

Her approval rating also dropped five points to 50 percent over the same period.

The drop in Robredo’s trust and approval ratings mirrors a downward trend that affected President Rodrigo Duterte.

The President’s approval rating slipped to 78 percent in September from 85 percent in June.

His trust rating, meanwhile, dropped 11 points to 85 percent in September from 74 percent three months prior.

Pulse Asia conducted the survey from September 16 to 22 using face-to-face interviews with a sample of 1,200 representative adults aged 18 years old and above.

It has an error margin of ± 2.8 percent at the 95-percent confidence level.
