Americans have elected former Vice President Joe Biden as the new United States president in bitter elections, dashing the hopes of Trump for a second term in the White House. Senator Kamala Harris is set to the first Black, Asian American and first female vice president of the United States.
After US media networks called the victory of tandem of the Democratic party, supporters have started to jam out to Miley Cyrus’s 2009 hit “Party in the USA” to celebrate the victory in the polls. Many people also took the streets from New York City, Chicago to North Carolina singing and dancing to the anthem of Biden-Harris triumph.
When news broke about the victory, Singer Miley Cyrus cheered Biden-Harris victory by shared a video on Twitter showing an edited clip of the former veep seemingly playing her song into the microphone at a campaign event.
“Now this is a party in the U.S.A.!” she wrote on Twitter.
