Poe remembers Jaafar as ‘warrior for peace’

Senator Grace Poe mourns the death of Bangsamoro Transition Commission Chairman Ghadzali Jaafar.
Poe described Jaafar as a warrior for Muslim rights and warrior for peace.
In a statement, Poe paid tribute to the work done by Jaafar for the establishment of the Bangsamoro region for the Moro People’s self-rule and for peace in Mindanao.
Poe believes that the people Jaafar left behind will make sure that his initiatives will continue.
The senator ended her statement with a quote from the Holy Quran :”When a person dies, all his deeds come to an end except three: ongoing charity, beneficial knowledge and a righteous child who will pray for him.”
