Poe, Villar, Go top Magdalo senatorial poll

Senators Grace Poe and Cynthia Villar, and former presidential aide Christopher Go dominated the list as top choice for senator, the latest nationwide Magdalo survey released by Senator Antonio Trillanes IV showed.
Poe got a preferential rating of 60.4 percent while Villar and Go received 50.8 percent and 47.8 percent, respectively.
The survey conducted between April 2 to 4, 2019 with 3,000 respondents placed former senator Lito Lapid at number four with 42.3 percent, and Pia Cayetano at number five with 40.4 percent.
Completing the Magic 12 were former senator Ramon Revilla Jr. (39.1 percent), former Philippine National Police chief Ronald Dela Rosa (36.9 percent), Senator Paolo Benigno Aquino IV (34.5 percent), Senator Nancy Binay (33.7 percent), Ilocos Norte Governor Imee Marcos (32.7 percent), former senator Jinggoy Estrada (30.9 percent), and Senator Juan Edgardo Angara (30.7 percent).
Former Interior secretary Mar Roxas (29.3 percent), former presidential political adviser Francis Tolentino (29 percent), Senator Aquilino Pimentel III (25.6 percent), and Senator Joseph Victor Ejecrito (23.4 percent) also have a statistical chance of making it to the winning circle.
The respondents of the Magdalo in-house survey were given a list of all the senatorial candidates and were asked the question: “Kung ngayon gagawin ang eleksyon sa pagka-senador, sino sa mga sumusunod na kandidato ang inyong iboboto? Pumili hanggang 12 na kandidato.”
