Artist Heart Evangelista is selling some pre-loved clothing items to raise funds for the country’s calamity victims.
The celebrity do-gooder announced on social media about her fundraising campaign to show support and sympathy for the communities affected by typhoon Ulysses in the country. She plans to match the selling price and donate the funds to charity.
“Will sell pre-loved designer goods —- and will match whatever price it is sold for and donate all to charity. it is almost Xmas,” she wrote on Twitter.

The first designer item sold is her Mark Bumgarner Filipiniana dress at P20,000.

The next item for sale is Heart’s Balmain pink blazer for P25,000.

When a netizen called her out to “show people” that she was helping, the wife of Sorsogon Governor Francis Escudero explained that that earning likes on social media is the least of her concerns.
She said getting “points in heaven” are more important than the likes on Instagram.
“It’s ok to create awareness . It’s ok to help get the word out but my points in heaven are far more important to me than likes on ig – this is my personal choice – now let’s get back to retweeting,” she said.
On Twitter, she further commented: “After all we are just instruments of God glory be to him.”
