Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte Carpio is surviving the coronavirus quarantine with help of a stuffed toy.

The President’s daughter recently gave her Instagram followers a sneak peek into her home office with “Porky” seated in front of her.

“Welcome to my home office. Porky to keep me company, somebody to talk to when thinking out loud. Fight!” she said on Instagram.

Mayor Sara has been working from home since the coronavirus shutdown. The photo posted on Instagram showed the mayor’s laptop, gadgets and paperwork on her desk.

The local official however still leaves the confines of her home to visit communities and check their condition amid the coronavirus pandemic.

“Bumisita kami sa Paquibato Cluster 5 or 6 kanina at eto ang sa kanila: ‘Look, Simba. Everything the light touches is our kingdom.’ Laban Paquibato!” she said, sharing a snapshot during her visit.

Davao City is among the high-risk areas placed under extended community quarantine by the national government until May 15.
