Power grabber kasi? GMA least trusted among top gov’t officials- Pulse Asia

Doubts apparently still linger in the public’s mind about House Speaker Gloria Macapagal Arroyo even though she has proven to be an efficient ally of the administration in Congress.

Results of Pulse Asia’s latest survey shows Arroyo is the least trusted among the four highest officials of the country, with only 21 percent of respondents having “big trust” in her. Forty-five percent do not trust the former President and 34 percent are on the fence about her.

Meanwhile, President Rodrigo Duterte enjoys the highest trust rating among the top officials of the country, with 76 percent having “big trust” in him. Only six percent of the respondents do not trust him while 16 percent are undecided.

The next most trusted politiko based on survey results is Senate President Vicente “Tito” Sotto III, with 66 percent of the respondents having “big trust” in him. Like Duterte, only six percent do not trust Sotto while 28 percent are undecided about him.

In third place is Vice President Leni Robredo, with 56 percent of the respondents having “big trust” in her. Seventeen percent of respondents distrust Robredo while 27 percent are unsure what to feel about her.

Arroyo also garnered the lowest approval rating in Pulse Asia’s survey. The poll results showed only 27 percent approve of her performance. Her figure is way below the 81 percent approval rating garnered by Duterte, 74 percent posted by Sotto and 62 percent for Robredo.

Pulse Asia conducted the survey nationwide from December 14 to 21, 2018 using face to face interviews.
