Former President Joseph Estrada is back at the intensive care unit (ICU) after doctors found a “super imposed” bacterial infection in his lung.

Estrada’s son, former senator Jinggoy Estrada, asked the public for prayers as he have details about the “slight setback” experienced by his father.

“He has been brought back to the regular ICU (non covid) for monitoring and support of his blood pressure which fluctuated due to the said infection. But overall, he is stable with high flow oxygen support,” Jinggoy said of the former President.

Estrada was confined at a hospital after testing positive for COVID-19 on March 29. He had to be hooked up to a ventilator because his pneumonia worsened.
