#ProtectVPLeni hashtag gains ground on Twitter prospect of Robredo’s impeachment surfaces

Supporters of Vice President Leni Robredo are rallying around her online amid the possibility that she could be impeached in connection to “Ang Totoong Narco List” video series.
The hashtag, #ProtectVPLeni, has been accompanying tweets supportive of Robredo since she was dragged into an alleged destabilization plot by ex-convict Peter Joemel Advincula, who claims to be the whistleblower “Bikoy” featured in the “Ang Totoong Narco List” videos.
In a May 23 press conference, Advincula claimed seeing Robredo once in a meeting with opposition figures regarding an alleged plan to overthrow the government.
While the Vice President has denied meeting Advincula or taking part in any destabilization plot, her supporters are calling attention to what they believe is a game plan to have her impeached.

Yesterday’s Bikoy drama was the “bombshell” Panelo bragged about which was supposed to be dropped last May 8. But it was preempted by Sotto’s expose’ on that same day, leaving Panelo almost speechless. But why was it resurrected? It could be a part of another plot. #protectVPLeni https://t.co/pWBvXRHeJP
