The 2022 elections are still far away but actor Robin Padilla already has a presidential bet in mind.
Robin has endorsed a potential presidential bid of his friend Senator Bong Go in his latest Facebook post.
He said Go is ready to take the driver’s seat from President Duterte. The President’s former assistant has been on the “passenger’s seat” for quite some time while Duterte rendered public service.
“Wala akong nakikitang papalit sa pagiging driver ng sasakyan ni mayor prrd kundi ang kasama na niyang nasa passenger seat ng 21 taon/years,” Robin wrote on Facebook.
“Tumanda na sa pagmamalasakit at pag seserbisyo si senator bong go,” he said.
Robin also said Go is not a politiko but a public servant. The lawmaker learned such a brand of service from Duterte, he added.
The President floated a presidential bid of his long-time aide while they were visiting Cagayan de Oro City last week. Go has not announced any plan to seek a higher public post in next year’s polls.
