The camp of Vice President Leni Robredo is unfazed by the 7-percent decline in her net satisfaction rating in the latest Social Weather Stations (SWS) survey.
The result of the latest poll, conducted from Dec. 16 to 19, 2018, showed that Robredo’s net satisfaction dropped to 27%, from 34% in September 2018.
However, the recent Pulse Asia survey painted a different picture on the Vice President’s performance. Pulse’s nationwide poll showed that Robredo’s rating increased from the previous poll in September 2018, obtaining a rating of 62%.
Robredo’s spokesperson Barry Gutierrez, in a statement on Thursday (January 17), said that despite conflicting results from the two surveys, the fact remains that majority of Filipinos continue to trust Robredo.
“While the SWS and Pulse Asia surveys paint slightly different pictures, one thing is common to both: that VP Leni continues to enjoy widespread trust and support from our fellow Filipinos,” Gutierrez said.
Gutierrez added they were “grateful” for VP’s standing in the polls, as this would inspire them to continue providing service to the poor and marginalized Filipinos.
“We are grateful for this, and will strive our utmost to continue providing diligent, effective, and conscientious service to them, particularly to the poor and marginalized,” he added.
