Vice President Leni Robredo slammed the allegations made by the man who came out as “Bikoy,” who is now linking her and the Liberal Party to another alleged destabilization plot against the administration.

Robredo faced the press on Thursday afternoon to debunk the claims made by ‘Bikoy,’ or Peter Joemel Advincula, who had surrendered to authorities earlier that day, recanting the allegations he made in the video series dubbed “Ang Totoong Narcolist.”

According to Advincula, the opposition, including LP and Senator Antonio Trillanes, were behind the said series of videos, which linked President Rodrigo Duterte, his family, and allies to the illegal drug trade.

“Gusto ko lang sabihin na I can speak for the party: Wala kaming kinalaman dito sa ‘Bikoy’ issue,” she said. “Natanong ko na si Sen. Kiko [Pangilinan], na siya ‘yong party president. Wala din siyang alam, hindi niya kilala, hindi pa niya nakausap. Kaya tingin ko unfair na isali ulit ‘yong LP dito.”

During a press conference with the Philippine National Police on Thursday morning, ‘Bikoy’ claimed that Robredo had dropped by in one of the meetings for the supposed plot, held at the Ateneo de Manila University.

In the same presser, he asserted the allegations made in the video series that featured him were “scripted” and false, as fed to him by opposition figures like Trillanes and LP. He likewise claimed that he was promised to be paid and given “absolute pardon” for the charges against him if the plan succeeds and installs Robredo as President.

The Vice President slammed these allegations as “lies.”

“Ang sigurado ko, nagsisinungaling siya, kasi dinamay niya ‘yong LP, na walang kinalaman. Sinabi niya ‘yong pangalan ko, na nagkita kami, na ni anino niya hindi ko talaga nakita. So sigurado ako sinungaling siya,” she said.
