Vice President Leni Robredo has advised former senator Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. to stop lying after his abogado raised allegations of wrongdoing about the presence of a revisor from her camp in an outing with Presidential Electoral Tribunal (PET) officers.
Robredo on Tuesday (July 10) said revisors from both her and Marcos’ camp were invited to the outing by PET officers because of the tension during the manual recount of votes.
While the Vice President cannot confirm if revisors from Marcos’ camp attended the outing, she said the former senator sent food over.
Marcos’ camp recently filed a manifestation asking PET to investigate the outing of PET officers with Robredo’s revisor and several head revisors while the manual recount is ongoing.
Robredo said Marcos knows the truth about the outing so he should tell members of his camp to stop spewing lies.
Robredo said she does not see a need for the PET’s head revisors to be disqualified for joining the outing.
