Leyte Rep. Martin Romualdez has promised to rally behind the economic agenda of the Duterte administration in the next three years.

Romualdez made the pledge after attending a pre-State of the Nation Address (SONA) forum organized by the Cabinet members in Davao City. The nephew of former First Lady Imelda Marcos has recently been endorsed by President Duterte as the next House Majority Leader.

“Kudos to the co-chairman of the Pre-SONA Forum: Tatak Pagbabago 2019, Defense Sec. Delfin Lorenzana, for a successful pre-SONA event held at the SMX Convention Center in Davao City. Congrats din sa mga hardworking cabinet members and other government officials na nakasama naming maghanda para sa darating na State of the Nation Address ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte,” he said on Instagram.

“Makakaasa kayo sa patuloy kong suporta sa economic agenda ng ating pamahalaan for the next three years. Mabuhay tayong lahat,” he said.
