The suggestions of Vice President Leni Robredo to improve the government’s pandemic response are being done by the administration, Malacañang said Tuesday.

In her Facebook page, Robredo said that there’s more to fighting the Covid-19 crisis than just wearing face masks, waiting for vaccines and spraying pesticides throughout the country.

“Wala raw tayong giangawa.

Robredo also identified four “main challenges” measures that the government should work on:

*Suppressing the pandemic by means of medical and non-medical interventions;

*Overcoming humanitarian emergencies including poverty, hunger, unemployment, mental distress, etc. caused by the pandemic;

*Restructuring public and private finances in the wake of the pandemic; and

*Rebuilding the economy in an inclusive, resilient, and sustainable way.
