CLAVERIA, Cagayan – Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte admitted that she was facing tough tasks as the campaign manager of her political entity Hugpong ng Pagbabago (HNP) party.
In ambush interview in Claveria, Cagayan on Tuesday, Mayor Duterte revealed that it was difficult to manage a national campaign compared to a local level.
Duterte said being the head campaigner of her party, she was obliged to devise various strategies to ensure the victory of Hugpong’s senate slate.
Meanwhile, Mayor Duterte said she does not feel alluded by criticisms from some members of the Ocho-Diretso senate slate, especially after endorsing former Sens. Ramon “Bong” Revilla Jr. and Jinggoy Estrada who were both implicated in the multi-billion pork barrel scam.
The presidential daughter said she would not resort to mudslinging and other dirty tricks unlike those opposition candidates.
