Actress Kris Aquino is choosing to stay calm and reasonable amid rumors that her new television project has been shelved.

In an Instagram post, Kris made indirect reference about her project, saying she can’t give an explanation since she doesn’t have the facts.

The former kapamilya host however bared about the block time slot for her program in a broadcast station owned by a “huge conglomerate.” She was apparently alluding to TV5 station managed by PLDT/Smart chairman Manny Pangilinan.

She said the company “took a risk with me with their prized jewels” when she started her digital journey in 2017. Kris sealed an endorsement deal with PLDT Home that year.

“I believe in their leader’s integrity. That conviction though tested, because after all i am HUMAN, remains steadfast. When others turned their backs on me, his group opened their doors… kaya simple lang, smart ako,” she said.

Rumors earlier swirled that Aquino’s new program has been scrapped after television executives supposedly shot it down.

Unperturbed by the latest development, Kris thanked her sisters “for being my source of peace & calm.” She is also grateful for the talent management firm manager “for finding a new, more EXCITING path for me to take.”

“I thank my sons for allowing me to see that there’s no need to keep holding on, because i must just let myself be held in the warmth of their love. 🤍,” she said.
