Sotto thinks only ladies have toilet problems: I’ve yet to see a lesbian enter men’s CR

Senate President Tito Sotto thinks only women have problems about non-females entering public toilets reserved for them. Sotto claimed that almost of the complaints about toilet use came from women getting uncomfortable having a male-looking person inside their toilets.

“Lalaki walang problema. I have yet to see a lesbian enter a men’s toilet eh. Walang problema dahil they use the women’s toilet because they know their kasarian,” said Sotto in an interview with DZMM.

“Sa kabuuan nung bill, ang mga babae ang nagrereklamo. Karamihan ng mga kababaihan ang nagrereklamo,” said Sotto.

“Ito yung sinasabi ko na mag-ingat tayo. Napakaliit na problema nyan doon sa SOGIE bill. Ni hindi namin halos po-problemahin sa debate ‘yan,” he added.

Toilet use has become a hot topi after transwoman Gretchen Diez made a fuss (and viral video) about being handcuffed and hauled to jail for using a female toilet. But Sotto accused Diez of deception claiming that the Farmer’s-Araneta mall CCTV clearly showed that ladies were the ones who complained about a male-looking person inside the ladies’ CR and that the janitress even led Diez to sue the the special toilet for handicap.
