Sumbungan na! Patricia Bautista’s allies met with Aguirre, Bong Go’s reps to rat on alleged cheating in 2016 polls- Tulfo

Sources close to Commission on Elections (Comelec) chairman Andres Bautista’s estranged wife, Patricia, met with Justice Secretary Vitaliano Aguirre II and representatives of Special Assistant to the President Christopher “Bong” Go to discuss the alleged cheating in the 2016 elections.

In his August 8 column for the Philippine Daily Inquirer, broadcaster Ramon Tulfo said Aguirre and Go’s representatives listened “to a tale of alleged massive cheating in the last elections.”

There were rumors that President Rodrigo Duterte received 21 million votes but 5 million of them were instead counted in favor of former Interior Secretary Mar Roxas.

The transfer of votes to Roxas was said to be the reason he placed second in the presidential race even if he was constantly lagging behind in the pre-election surveys.

Former senator Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. also supposedly won as vice president but the votes were said to be manipulated in favor of Leni Robredo.

Tulfo said a Comelec commissioner was also present in the meeting with persons close to Bautista but he did not name the person.

Patricia has accused her estranged husband of amassing unexplained wealth amounting to nearly P1 billion. She believes he got richer by committing questionable acts as Comelec chair and previously, as head of the Presidential Commission on Good Government.
