Sumusunod lang sa Pangulo! Calida closes OSG as NCR returns to MECQ
Solicitor General Jose Calida on Monday (August 3) ordered the temporary closure of the Office of the Solicitor General (OSG) offices in Makati City.
The OSG informed the public that it will be “closed from August 4 to 18.”
Calida made the decision after President Rodrigo Duterte announced that Metro Manila, Laguna, Bulacan, Cavite, and Rizal will be placed under modified enhanced community quarantine (MECQ) from August 4 to 18.
“In compliance with President Rodrigo Roa Duterte’s declaration of modified enhanced community quarantine (MECQ) over NCR, the Office of the Solicitor General (OSG) is implementing a work from home arrangement for the majority of its employees during the period of the MECQ,” the OSG said in a statement.
“Only a skeleton force composed of employees from the Financial Management Service (FMS) and the sanitation and disinfection team will physically report in the office,” it added.
The OSG said that it can still accept documents but will have to be sent through e-mail.
