Malacañang will check the conditions of jail facilities in the country following the death of Baby River, a three-month-old infant who was separated from her mother Reina Nasino, a jailed activist, just a month after she was born.
Malacañang said it respects the security arrangement during the wake and burial of Baby River, daughter of political prisoner Reina Mae Nasino.
Justice Secretary Menardo Guevarra said the case against detained activist Reina Mae Nasino will proceed without any hitch.
