The Department of Justice (DOJ) continues to be drowned with over 10,000 cases still pending for review, said Justice Undersecretary Adrian Sugay.
“We’re taking measures to ensure that all of these petitions are resolved or addressed properly,” he assured.
On the other hand, Sugay pointed out most of these cases has been at the DOJ even before the President Rodrigo Duterte’s administration took over.
“We’re talking about anywhere from 10 to 11,000 ang inabot na namin dito,” he disclosed.
“And then add another 2 to 3,000 petitions filed after June 30, 2016,” he said.
