So it come to this.

With the country’s runaway surge in coronavirus cases, Filipinos must look after one another after the government has apparently failed them.

Former Vice President Jojo Binay said Filipinos could no longer depend on their government amid rising cases of infections and deaths from coronavirus in the country. In a Facebook post, Binay is dismayed that the country’s coronavirus situation has deteriorated given the continuous case spike.

“When we cannot rely on government, just be there for one another. Tayo nalang ang titingin at tutulong sa isat-isa,” he added.

Binay made the appeal after the country’s cases of infections went above 800,000 on Monday April 5 despite the lockdown implemented in NCR plus.
