Teddyboy Locsin slams ‘losers’ claiming Duterte didn’t get FIFA jersey: Inggit lang kayo!
Foreign Affairs Secretary Teodoro “Teddyboy” Locsin Jr. has blasted critics claiming FIFA officials skipped giving President Rodrigo Duterte a jersey in Thailand while he was on stage with other heads of state of Southeast Asian critics.
Locsin vented his ire on Twitter in response to a tweet by the Philippine Star (@PhilStarNews) which read: “Videos showed, however, that Infantino took time to get Duterte’s jersey. Some leaders got their jersey ahead of Duterte and he turned out to be the last recipient.”
The feisty Foreign Affairs Secretary replied: “So what are you saying? They printrd one right then and there for him? Aw c’mon. You are so inggit. Losers!”
Malacañang has already clarified that Duterte received a FIFA jersey during the signing of a memorandum of understanding between the ASEAN and FIFA Saturday (November 2).
The uncut video aired by FIFA showed that while Duterte appeared to have been bypassed in the distribution of jerseys for Myanmar State Counselor Aung San Suu Kyi, he eventually received his jersey bearing the number 10.
All other heads of state received their jerseys before another FIFA official handed Duterte’s jersey to his colleague on stage to give to the Philippine President.
FIFA gave the Southeast Asian politikos jerseys as a gesture of gratitude after they agreed to jointly host the 2034 FIFA World Cup.
So what are you saying? They printrd one right then and there for him? Aw c’mon. You are so inggit. Losers! https://t.co/4CN5NKxj5C
