Tito Sotto slams Facebook for anti-Catholic censorship

Does Facebook hate Catholics?

Senator Tito Sotto recently took a swipe at Facebook for its perceived anti-conservative bias following censorship of several Catholic posts online.

“FB removed more than a dozen Catholic posts yet not a single post of Planned Parenthood! Ang galing…. ni Ted Cruz, hindi kayo!” Sotto tweeted, referring to the Texas senator who grilled Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg for political bias against conservatives.

“FB has again shown bias by tapping 2 groups to partner for monitoring when these groups are completely anti admin. Tsktsk,” he added.

Sotto instead called for closer coordination between Facebook and local media groups to weed out false information on social media.

“I urge all legitimate media organizations to coordinate with Facebook. The more groups filtering what is fake or not will help in preventing the spread of misinformation. #nujp #kbp #papi #npc,” he tweeted.
