MEYCAUAYAN CITY, Bulacan – Administration senatorial bet Francis Tolentino said he should have placed 11th in the 2016 senatorial elections if he wasn’t cheated by the previous administration.
In his speech during Hugpong ng Pagbabago’s (HNP) campaign caravan in Meycauayan City on Monday, Tolentino disclosed that a sitting senator who he refused to name recently approached him and revealed that he was actually no. 11 during a tight senatorial race three years ago.
Kaya muli po ngayon, lumalaban si Francis Tolentino,” said the former Tagaytay City mayor.
Tolentino said despite all the black propaganda and smear campaign against him, he was still able to secure more than 13 million votes.
The former Presidential Political Adviser also stood firm on his earlier pronouncement that the alleged irregularities during the 2016 national elections prevented him from securing a seat in the Senate.
