Totoo ba? SC to probe judges in PDEA’s watch list
The Supreme Court (SC) is set to conduct a probe of judges in the drug watch list of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA).
SC Spokesperson Brian Hosaka said the SC en banc decided on Tuesday (April 2) to appoint Justice Diosdado Peralta “to coordinate and communicate directly with the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) for the list of judges allegedly linked to the illegal drug trade.”
“This will pave the way for a formal fact-finding and administrative investigation by the Supreme Court,” Hosaka told reporters.
“The Supreme Court, like in the past, will and shall not tolerate any illegal or corrupt activities within its ranks,” he stressed.
PDEA Director General Aaron Aquino had earlier revealed its drug watch list also include 13 judges.
