United States President Donald Trump had so much fun talking over the phone to President Rodrigo Duterte Saturday that he expressed his excitement in seeing him soon.

In a statement by the White House, US Press Secretary Sean Spicer said: “President. Trump enjoyed the conversation and said that is looking forward to visiting the Philippines in November to participate in the East Asia Summit and the US-ASEAN Summit. President Trump also invited President Duterte to the White House to discuss the importance of the United States-Philippines alliance which is now heading in a very positive direction.”

Spicer said Trump and Duterte the concerns of ASEAN on North Korea’s missile threat.

He said they also touched on Duterte’s criticized brutal war on drugs ‎which Trump’s predecessor, Barack Obama, criticized.

“They discussed the fact that the Philippine government ‎is fighting very hard to rid its country of drugs, a scourge that affects many countries throughout the world,” Spicer said.
