Senator Francis Pangilinan has issued an urgent plea for humanitarian aid for communities devastated by typhoon Ulysses.

Pangilinan, in a Facebook post, urged politikos to lend a helping hand to their neighbors in need.

As the typhoon caused widespread floods in Metro Manila and other areas, Pangilinan said the typhoon victims needed food, water and relief items. He also asked for the deployment of rescue boats to help those still stranded flood-hit areas.

Pangilinan said his office is closely coordinating with some local government units and the private sector for the rescue and relief operations. “Kukuha tayo ng lakas sa bawat isa. Tulong- tulong,” he said.
