The senatorial race continues to heat up as the campaign season continues, with the latest Pulse Asia survey showing two re-electionist senators out of the so-called “Magic 12.”
Results of the poll conducted from February 24 to 27 showed Senator Grace Poe maintaining her lead as the top senatorial candidate to vote for in May.
Former Special Assistant to the President Christopher “Bong” Go jumped to third to fifth place, next to re-electionist senator Cynthia Villar.
Go‘s ranking is the same as Senator Sonny Angara.
In third to seventh place are former senator Lito Lapid, followed by Taguig Rep. Pia Cayetano.
Former Philippine National Police chief Ronald Dela Rosa is ranked fifth to eighth place, while Senator Nancy Binay is ranked seventh to 10th place.
Jostling for the last crucial spots are former senators Mar Roxas, who’s ranked between eighth and 12th place, and Bong Revilla, who’s ranked eighth to 13th place.
Tied for the ninth to 14th place are Ilocos Norte governor Imee Marcos and Senator Aquilino “Koko” Pimentel III.
Former senator Jinggoy Estrada is ranked 10th to 15th place while former Presidential Adviser on Political Affairs Francis Tolentino completes the list of senatorial candidates with a statistical chance of winning at 11th to 15th place.
Re-electionist senators Bam Aquino and JV Ejercito are both out of the list of likely senatorial winners.
