The memes turning Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque into a joke do not offend him.

Roque said he’s glad his recent photo in Boracay brought joy to some people amid the coronavirus pandemic.

His image standing on the shore with arms wide open was transported to another background such as the basketball court, Red Sea, and gladiator stadium among others.

“Sa panahon ng pandemiya, natutuwa ako na kahit papano meron tayong kontribusyon para maaliw ang ating mga kababayan,” the Palace official said in an interview over state-run PTV-4 Wednesday.

Roque said the “Avengers: End Game” meme gave him a chuckle.

“Maganda yung kasama ko ang mga Avengers. Kamukha din ako ng mga Avengers. Kasing katawan ng mga Avengers,” he added.
