What will it take for Manny Pacquiao to beat the undefeated “Pretty Boy” of the boxing world, Floyd Mayweather Jr.?
For former world heavyweight champ Mike Tyson, the answer is simple: The Filipino boxing icon has to turn into a monster.
“He has to turn into a monster,” said Tyson of Pacquiao. “He has to be an intelligent monster. He can’t rush in. He has to be elusive.”
Tyson, the famed boxer who bit a piece of Evander Holyfield’s ear when they fought in 1998, said he predicts the Pacquiao-Mayweather fight to be “very interesting” since the Filipino boxer is both a power puncher and very elusive in the ring.
He expects Pacquiao to do well because “he is very aggressive and very hard to hit.”
Asked about Mayweather’s chances, the retired boxing icon just shook his head. ““Floyd has to force (himself) to score more than 38 punches around this guy. Manny is gonna close, Manny’s gonna be close, he will be fast and moving side to side. Floyd has got to bring more than an A-plus game (to win).”
